You are receiving this email because you, along with over 800 other alumni, signed a letter in solidarity with Emerson Students for Justice in Palestine and the Emerson College Student Union— Thank you for standing with us as we strive to hold Emerson College accountable and push for the institution to stand on the right side of history.
Following the outpouring of support for the 118 students arrested at the end of April, Emerson Alumni for Justice in Palestine formed as a way to organize and mobilize the alumni community. You can read our guiding principles here, join our Facebook group here, and follow us on Instagram here. If you would like to stop receiving emails from EAJP, please email us at EmersonAJP@proton.me to remove yourself from our mailing list.
Emerson’s Alumni Weekend is fast approaching, and with it, more calls for alumni donations from a college that refuses to meet the demands of its student body, disclose and divest, or publicly condemn the ongoing genocide of Palestinian people. We’d like to take this opportunity to ask you to direct your support instead toward our UNRWA fundraiser to support Palestinian refugees in Gaza.
Thank you again for your continued commitment to leverage our power as an alumni community.
In solidarity,
Emerson Alumni for Justice in Palestine
